I am convinced that 2012 is going to be a good year! I have a wonderful husband, 3 beautiful kids, a great family, amazing friends, and a Savior who LOVES me...how could it not be a good year?
On the trip home from my parents house, I started working on my calendar and started thinking about all the things that I have to look forward to this year. I forced myself to do this because I was becoming a little overwhelmed!
The #1 thing I am looking forward to in 2012 is....J moving to first shift! We have been married 10 years and in that time he has always worked 2nd or 3rd shift. It makes me so happy to think he will be here every evening with us. Plus, he can help get the kids to all of their extracurricular activities. Don't get me wrong, I am so glad he was able to stay home with the kids the past 7 years, but look forward to having a little more time with him in the evenings!
Other things happening in 2012 (God willing!)...Susie's 40th birthday, E will start school, Hayden will start daycare, Addy will be a BIG second grader, 10 year Anniversary, vacation with the Klusman's (and whoever else we can get to join us), KC Warrior Dash, and hopefully a 1/2 Marathon. I have started training for a 1/2 twice and have yet to complete one. The first time I got pregnant with Hayden and the second time I got lazy! The farthest I have ran at one time is 10 miles...surely I can add another 3.1!
