Kramer Christmas

We celebrated Christmas with my family on New Years Day. We started getting together New Years weekend a few years ago due to everyone's hectic schedules. Plus, I like my kids to be home on Christmas morning. There is something about waking up at your own house on Christmas morning. =)

The minute the kids woke up they were ready to rip open the presents. Opening gifts doesn't get old for a 4 year-old and 6 year-old...they LOVE it! We had to wait; however, until the Hudson's arrived. I'm pretty sure the kids were glued to the window looking for them. =) Finally, they got there and the chaos began. In fact, I barely got to watch them because they were going so fast. I think we may have to start the one present at a time rule next year so everyone can see what everyone gets. The kid's big gift from Papa & Grandma were new boots...even Hayden got a pair of lace up ropers! They look so cute on them and will come in very handy when they are riding horses at Papa & Grandma's house.

When everyone was done opening presents, we ate lunch and then I took a 5 mile walk. After all the food I consumed over the weekend, I needed to get a little exercise!

That evening, Grandma, Molly, and Merilea came out and we played several games...mostly Catch Phrase! It was a fun day...I LOVE spending time with my family!
